The cathedral St Vitus has been build since 14th century until beginning of 20th century. It's one of the biggest in Europe. 120 meters in length, the side tower is 80 meteres high and the front towers are 63 meters high each. The ceiling inside the cathedral is 33 meters high. In the left up there is organ and below it there is a relief presenting Cyril and Methody with signs on glagolic and cyrillic alphabeths. Here are the two front towers. The stones are so precisely cut and placed as they make continuous stright edges. |
