Tabblo Changes Self-Publishing Book Market with Customizable, Fast, Easy and Inexpensive Photo Books

With the rise of digital photography, photo books are quickly becoming among the hottest self-published items on the Web. Tabblo, Inc. today released a powerful new online photo book editor that not only allows people to make fully customizable professional-looking photo books, but also makes this process fast and easy, enabling people to go from having pictures on their camera to having a fully designed book in less than one hour.

The photo books produced through Tabblo are unlike anything on the market today. The advanced photo book editor enables users to easily blend photos and words to create books that are beautiful and unique, without investing hours of time or downloading a large program. What's more, multiple people can contribute to a single book, so groups can create works of art together. These can be used as unique, personal gifts or keepsakes for archiving the important events in life. The smaller book, at four inches square so that it easily fits into a purse or briefcase, is unique to the market, and the larger book features a photo-laminate cover, so your best picture can wrap around the entire book.

"Publishing photo books has taken off in recent years, as people take advantage of technology to create something that goes far beyond a typical photo album," said Tabblo CEO Antonio Rodriguez. "With Tabblo, we've taken this experience to the next level with an online book editor that gives people more options for collaboration and design than ever before. Think about a kids' sports team that can now put together a yearbook with photos that parents took on the sidelines. Or a far-flung family that pools their best photos from the past year to create a uniquely personal Christmas gift. Tabblo is all about creative collaboration, bringing people together and giving them the tools they need to make something they couldn't do on their own."

Tabblo (www.tabblo.com) is a next-generation photo sharing service that helps people turn their photos into stories by blending layout templates with words. Once users have created an online Tabblo, they can easily share it (without forcing recipients to register) or use it to create other products both online and off, through links, blogs, posters, postcards, books and more.

All books are hardcover and available in two sizes: 4-inch by 4-inch with a linen cover for $9.95 and a full-size 9.5-inch by 8-inch book with a photo laminate cover for $29.95. Books can be created and delivered in about a week, even during the peak holiday season, making them perfect for last-minute gifts.

Unlike most photo book editors, Tabblo does not require download allowing the entire process to take place online. Users are able to see all the pages they've created and easily resize, move and adjust their books to produce the Tabblo exactly how they want. The photo editor also allows for a blend of text and photos, and lets people collaborate on books so a group can create a single book, or variations, together.
