FujiFilm Announces 'Aquamask' Waterproof Case for FinePix A400 and A500

Fuji Photo Film U.S.A. Inc., today unveiled the new, custom-made 'Aquamask' - a protective housing designed specifically for Fujifilm's FinePix A400 and A500 digital cameras. The Aquamask is a tough, protective shell that allows for full digital camera operation as it protects the models from sand, dust and dirt, plus water up to a depth of 10 feet.

As the summertime approaches, Fujifilm's Aquamask is a smart, complementary companion to the FinePix A400 and A500 and is one of the few protective, waterproof casings available for entry-level digital cameras. Sporting fun, light green color accents, the Aquamask is ideal for families who spend their summer days engaged in a myriad of outdoor activities.

"Whether swimming at the pool or beach, boating or hiking with the kids, the colorful Aquamask is an all-terrain imaging tool. It's a great investment to keep your digital camera safe and ensure you don't miss capturing any of those fun summer activities," said James Avato, Marketing Manager, Electronic Imaging Division, Fuji Photo Film U.S.A., Inc.

The four MegaPixel FinePix A400 and five MegaPixel FinePix A500 models are the first of Fujifilm's new breed of entry-level digital cameras to feature the company's Super CCD technology. These A-Series cameras are ideal for the first-time digital camera buyer or any photographer that craves operational simplicity, but demands image quality.

Priced at $79.99, Fujifilm's Aquamask waterproof case is available for purchase beginning June 2006.
