Simple Star and Road Runner High Speed Online Launch Road Runner PhotoShow Deluxe
PhotoShow Deluxe Enables Road Runner High Speed Online Customers to Create Entertaining PhotoShows With a Rich Mixture of Photos, Music and Video
Simple Star and Road Runner High Speed Online today announced the launch of Road Runner PhotoShow Deluxe. With Road Runner PhotoShow Deluxe, Road Runner customers are able to take advantage of a comprehensive range of PhotoShow Deluxe features and create PhotoShows that help bring memories to life through a rich mixture of photos, music and videos.
PhotoShow Deluxe is available through a partnership with Simple Star, a leading consumer imaging software and services company, based in San Francisco. This premium product is offered at no additional charge to all of Road Runner High-Speed Online customers in Time Warner Cable, Bright House Networks and Insight Communications service areas.
Road Runner PhotoShow Deluxe is complete with personalization options like adding music and one-click styles for digital consumers to easily share their memories with family and friends. The result is a richer experience for both users and PhotoShow recipients. Leveraging Road Runner's "always on" broadband technology, PhotoShow Deluxe also enables users to share PhotoShows through Road Runner PhotoShow Circle, a personalized website where subscribers can arrange their PhotoShows in galleries that are easy to customize with different themes and layouts.
In addition to being shared online, PhotoShows can be shared via a CD-ROM or Video CD (VCD). Users also have the option to burn a DVD at home or take advantage of PhotoShow's DVD service to enjoy the personally compelling content from the comfort of their living rooms on any DVD player.
When sent via email, PhotoShows are conveniently embedded as live links, which solves the problem of overwhelmed email inboxes with large photo files. Along with the link, recipients will receive a thumbnail of the first photo in the PhotoShow, inviting them to view. Road Runner High-Speed Online customers can send their PhotoShow stories to any valid email address, to users operating in a Windows or Mac environment with the free Flash player installed. The recipient of the PhotoShow does not need to be a Road Runner High-Speed Online customer in order to view it.
"We created PhotoShow Deluxe from the ground-up to help empower new digital consumers to easily bring their memories to life," said Chad Richard, Chief Executive Officer for Simple Star. "With the combination of Time Warner Cable's flagship Road Runner High Speed Online Service and our PhotoShow storytelling environment, photo enthusiasts can transform their photos and videos into entertaining PhotoShows that they can view on their PCs and share with others."
"The launch of Road Runner PhotoShow Deluxe provides yet another great reason for customers to subscribe to the award-winning Road Runner service and stick with it," said Steve Cook, Vice President and General Manager, Time Warner Cable High Speed Online. "We're pleased to be offering this valuable product at no extra charge to our Road Runner customers."
